A very wet morning made bird finding extremely difficult, but on the log were 150 Brent, 2 Great Crested Grebes, 3 Common Scoter, 140 Dunlin, 30 Knot, 30 Redshank,15 Grey Plover and a single Purple Sandpiper. About 3,000 Herring Gulls were about, many of which flew west passed the north end. In the gardens and paddocks, 3 Dunnocks, 2 Robins, a Wren and a Blackbird was all that could be found. A Peregrine was seen twice patrolling off the east side.
