It seemed more like March today with such species as Greylag Geese (8), Magpie Right), Woodpigeon, Goldfinch (2), (below right) and House Sparrow (left) present on the island, although a small passage of 12 Swifts proved it was actually summer. The recent run of many Little Egrets continued with 7 in the east gutter at the same time. A female Peregrine flew south from Middle island (below). A quiet sea produced a single Gannet and 15 Sandwich Terns.
