Weather: N force 1
A juvenile Wheatear at the North End was probably the bird from the 8th.
The late visit found 25 Grey Plover (some in summer plumage), 36 Sanderling and 12 Dunlin on the East Hoyle following the afternoon tide. Others this afternoon were a Gannet, 370 Sandwich Terns, 4 Eider and 2 Goldfinch. The islands single plant of Sea Holly (Eryngium maritimum) is looking spikily spectacular.
