Weather : SW force 4, W 4 in the afternoon
Thirty five Sanderling roosted on Middle with a few visiting the main island after the tide.
Waders also recorded today were 24 Ringed Plover and 10 Turnstone. Twelve Gannets were feeding out to sea and 2 Guillemots were recorded. Eider numbered 9 today. Out of the 6 Blackbirds seen, 3 were juveniles, thought to be from 2 different nests. Some Rock Pipits were still feeding young in Niffy bay.
Meanwhile the Whitethroat is still singing, mainly in the SK paddock. There were 3 Little Egrets and a Grey Heron.
