Weather: SE force 3 slight mist NNE 3 late afternoon
A welcome bit of movement this morning with 7 Willow Warblers present (4 were then ringed) and a calling Tree Pipit overhead the island. Two Woodpigeons were flying around and 3 Goldfinches were also seen and heard. Ringed plovers are present in good numbers now (250) and 3 Bar-tailed Godwit and 6 Whimbrel were the highlights of the waders
A Shag was here again and 20 Sandwich Terns were recorded while just 2 Little Egrets showed, although 4 Grey Herons roosted on Middle Eye.
The Kestrel was joined on today's list by a Peregrine.
