14th August 2020

Weather: WSW   force 1, in the evening E 0/1

A late afternoon visit found a few Willow Warblers were still present, presumably from the morning and 5 were ringed, while 5 Wheatears were also hanging around. Four Rock Pipits were noted in the evening together with a Shag and a couple of Whimbrels. A dead female Kestrel was found by a member of the public, probably one of the two that has been about this last couple of weeks. Several Small and Green-veined Whites, a Peacock and 2 Common Blues flew in the late sunshine.

Ringed: 5 Willow Warblers , 1 Linnet.
