Weather: NW force 5/6 then W 3/4
Two Ravens were seen this morning, continuing the recent run of these large corvids. Four Goldcrests and a Goldfinch were the only small migrants noted, among the regulars of Robins, Wrens (7+), Meadow Pipits, Rock Pipits (3) and a Dunnock. Unusual was the sight of a juvenile Gannet flying low over the sand between the islands, while other sea birds were a Guillemot and 2 Great Crested Grebes. Noted on the shore were 136 Shelduck, 68 of the Brent and 3 Little Egrets. Both Peregrine and Kestrel were present today.
