Weather: SW force 3
A brief afternoon visit saw a Purple Sandpiper come ‘in off’ as the tide flooded (seen from Obs balcony as it flew in and landed by Middle with Brents), surely more are to follow soon. An immature Peregrine gave a fine disply on and around the islands.
The Kestrel was also present and all the regular waders including 110 Redshank, 9 Ringed Plover, 45 Turnstone, a Knot and a Bar-tailed Godwit. The Wigeon was still there, also 3 Little Egrets and 10 Shelduck.
