Weather: N then NNE 1
A pre-tide visit and with the temperature on the island slightly warmer than the mainland (2 degrees) it still felt cold indeed. There were 10 Blackbirds and 2 Song Thrushes on the island but no overhead movement. A Skylark was on the ground as one has been recently.
On the sea were 4 Gannet, 6 Red-breasted Merganser (including 4 males), 1 Red throated Diver and 6 Eider in the gutter.
and over 200 Brent are still here.The Kestrel is still about.
