Weather: WNW force 4, heavy ran later
A breezy morning visit over the tide did not manage to record any exciting sea birds although a Little Tern was seen and of course the 10 Common Terns and about 100 Sandwich Terns resting on the shore, which included a ringed individual.
Meadow and Rock Pipits are feeding young, with one unringed Rock Pipit carrying food when we thought the breeding adults were all ringed
The Pyramidal Orchid still flowers in the paddock.
The Kestrel was on the island and 2 Little Egrets and a Grey Heron on the shore.
