Weather: SSE force 1 with drizzle, veering NW 1 in the afternoon.
A visit for the tide found that the 5 Eiders from yesterday (1 adult male, 2 immature males, and 2 females) were all still present. Two Red-throated Divers, 3 Great Crested Grebes and 2 Guillemots were the best on the sea, while waders seen at the tide were 5,000 Oystercatchers, 150 Knot, 40 Turnstone and 10 Redshank, with 3,000 Dunlin, 15 Sanderling and 22 Ringed Plover around the rocks and pool at the north end. There were no warblers today but 3 Wheatears and 5 Swallows came through with a small number of Meadow Pipits. About 30 Brent put in an appearance, also 50 Shelduck.
