 Weather: SSW force 5 
 A fresh breeze again to blow in some sea birds. Gannets were in good numbers about 80 this morning.

 
Another Manx Shearwater showed, also 10 Razorbills, 15 Guillemots, 7 Red-throated Divers, 6 Great Crested Grebes and 150 Common Scoter. There is still 100 Brent about the islands.

 

A couple of Whimbrel were the best of the waders, although 6 Purple Sandpipers wrere present. A Chiffchaff and a Willow Warbler were abouth the gardens, 15 Swallows came through and there were 5 Blackbirds on the island.

 

One of these was retrapped and was found to have been originallyringed here on 25th July 2024. No finches found today apart from the 30 mostly breeding Linnets.
