12th August 2022

Weather: SE force 0/1

Just a single Willow Warbler again today,

there were however a number of Swallows passing through adding to the local young birds. An adult Mediterannean Gull was among the several hundred Black-headed Gulls on the shore and a Greenshank was again in the gutters around the island. Also about the shore were 4 Grey Herons, 3 Little Egrets and a Whimbrel. The moth trap was out again last night.
