Weather: (evening) NW force 1/2
An evening arrival found a juvenile Redstart in the obs garden, another wandering warbler appearing in mid summer, but a really good one to have on the island. Slightly less exciting was a Starling that subsequently stayed the night.
Three Kestrels were again calling around the island, presumably attracted by numerous Short-tailed field Voles. A juvenile and an adult Pied Wagtail were on the slipway.
