Weather: W force 4
A force 4 wind from the west all day meant that yesterdays small movement of passerines didn't continue and attention went back to waders with 18 Purple Sandpiper roosting over the high tide.
Thirty Grey Plover were on the East Hoyle on the ebb along with over 70 Curlew.
A good count was made of 160 Turnstone, 44 Ringed Plover roosted on the North End.
Also at the North End were a few of the 820 Dunlin noted.
A Red-throated Diver flew west passed the island, 4 Great Crested Grebe, 2 Eider and a male Goosander were recorded along with 1300 Common Scoter, a few of which stay around the island.
Seven Rock Pipits were seen, with a pair displaying on each of the main islands.
