 Weather:  WSW force 4/5

A very high tide today with a force 4-5 westerly led to a number of Dunlin and Ringed Plover roosting on top of the North End and taking advantage of the pools for a bath.

 

Three Eiders including a female and 2 males (one adult) were here, also 2 male and 2 female Goosander.

On the sea today were noted 3 Red-throated Divers, 5 Great Crested Grebes and 900 Common Scoter, while waders around included 8 Purple Sandpipers, 110 Turnstone, 120 Ringed Plover, 26 Sanderling and 4,500 Dunlin. Only a single Little Egret showed today.
