Weather: SSE force 3 veering W4 soon after midday
Very quiet today with single records of Willow Warbler, Wheatear, Pied Wagtail and Swallow counting as migrants. The regular waders included 121 Ringed Plover, 33 Turnstone, 82 Dunlin, 18 Curlew and 2 Whimbrel. Also seen about the islands were 3 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron, a Shag on the rocks at the north end and the fenale Kestrel hunting the island. The butterflies seen were 6 Red Admirals still about, some Small Whites and a Small Tortoiseshell.
