6th April 2021

 Weather: N  force 4/5

A bitterly cold northerly was little use for producing migrants, but it did provide views (mostly distant) of  62 Sandwich Tern, 35 Gannets, and 3 Little Gulls, mostly in the swash as the tide ebbed.

There are still over 200 Brent including 2 dark-bellied birds.

A pair of Shelduck remained on the rocks off the east side, and another flew out of the estuary off the west side. A Raven was near the lookout but was chased off by the crows. Three Rock Pipits were on the island.
The male Eider still hangs about, while 63 Curlew were west of Little Eye after the tide and 34 Ringed Plover were on the reef.
