Weather: WSW force 3
Two Golden Plover topped the list of species on a quiet day, closely followed by a fairly late Swallow flying south west.
More seasonable were 6 Skylarks moving west, also 3 Redpolls travelling in the same direction and a Goldfinch down on the island to feed.
Amongst the waders were 25 Ringed Plover, some very confiding today. Just a single Bar-tailed Godwit was here.
Fourty two Brent included the first colour ringed individual seen this autumn/winter.
A big count was of 14 Little Egrets.
The only sightings on the sea were 50 Common Scoter and a Guillemot.
