A flying visit before the tide revealed no migration of note, just a Blackbird and Song Thrush and a couple of Pied Wagtails. The Brent seemed to be at a total of 89, although possibly a few could be separated from the main flock. The Merlin was glimpsed briefly overhead and a Little Egret fed between the islands with a Grey Heron.
