Weather: SE force 4, intermittent light drizzle later.
A quiet start to the morning with no movement overhead and in the paddocks were just 3 Goldcrests and a Chiffchaff (which was the ringed bird from yesterday). A single Wheatear stayed some time around the north of the island.
In contrast to yesterday just single Pink-footed Goose flew high to the east over the island while calling. The 3 Eiders were off the east side of the north end and near to there 8 Arctic Terns flew passed with a couple of Sandwich Terns. Distant views of Common Scoter off the north shore were estimated at 500 birds, nearer to home a Guillemot was at the north end. The expected waders were here in numbers; 1,000 Knot, 500 Dunlin, 150 Sanderling, 2 summer plumaged Grey Plover, 6 Bar-tailed Godwits and 85 Redshank feeding in the gutter.
Where were joined by the likes of Little Egret and Curlew.
The Brent was counted at 18 birds, the rest would have scattered elsewhere,
