Weather: N 3, later NNW 2, clear, lake district visible
Three Meadow Pipits were singing today; on Middle, the south end of the island and by the old obs. A Rock Pipit was also seen. Among the waders were 4 Purple Sandpipers, 50 Turnstones and 40 Redshank, while a Great Crested Grebe and 26 Common Scoter were also logged. A single Skylark was the only visitor to the island. The Red Fox appeared in the lookout building.
