Weather: SW 3 – 4 vis 25 mls
There were very few birds on the island but 2 Willow Warbler arrived in the afternoon and a Robin was ‘ticking’ in the Pittospurum, only 3 Swallows were seen.
There were 230 Dunlin but other wader numbers were low with 2 Grey Plover, 4 Ringed Plover, 6 Whimbrel , 12 Curlew and only a single each of Redshank and Turnstone.
On the sea were 21 Common Scoter, 8 Great Crested Grebe and 14 Gannet, with a juvenile just off the North end.
There was a single Heron on Middle Eye first thing, Tern numbers were 11 Little, 250 Sandwich and 40 Common.
A Sparrowhawk was seen going high between the islands towards Wales.
