A short visit this morning found the island quiet but 2 Willow Warblers dropped in mid-morning. The good light enabled fine shots to be taken of the male Kestrel present which is ringed right leg.
This was one of 2 Kestrels present on the island and a Peregrine was also logged. Among the waders were 12 Ringed Plovers and a Whimbrel. A Meadow Pipit also posed for our photographer.
