Weather: SW1, 8/8 cloud, rain
The year started damp and very quiet as is often the case.
With members staying over New Year's Eve finding the wintering passerines on the island including 3 Wren, 2 Robin and a single Song Thrush and 1,380 Cormorant counted leaving the estuary.
Four Purple Sandpipers were present.
