Weather: SW force 2
A visiting birder found a Snow Bunting on the ground at Little Eye. The Brent Geese were counted at a new high of 198 individuals, a large gathering for this early in the autumn/winter. A small passage of Meadow Pipits enabled 2 to be ringed, also 1 of the 3 Goldcrests present. A Rock Pipit was retrapped after being ringed here 8 days ago.
A Devil's coach horse beetle was in one of the potter traps apparently attemping to eat one of the meal worms.
Ringed: 2 Meadow Pipits, 1 Goldcrest. [ 749-36 ]
