Weather: ESE force 3 later 4
A very quiet day considering the favourable wind direction. The most photogenic subject was a female Goosander that was at the north end and later in the lagoon between the islands.
A Cormorant also sat at the north end taking the sun.
The only real 'migrant' was a single Reed Bunting flying south, although the presence of 9 Wrens could have indicated a small movement through. Always available for a good photo are the Purple Sandpipers, 14 seen today.
Their feeding companions, the Turnstones numbered 140, also seen today were 56 Grey Plover. The temperature was very low today but the Dafodills are well aware that it is now spring.
