Norwegian Ringed Rock Pipit

We have already received news of the Norwegian colour-ringed Rock Pipit from earlier today captured in one of our potter traps, which had also retrapped two of our ringed birds earlier in the day on 'Wheatear Hill'.

It was caught in a ‘walk in trap’ at Giske Ornithological Station, Norway (a small island off the west coast of Norway - see map below) on 14 August 2016 by Kjell Mork Soot.  Many thanks to Kjell for the quick turn around of information.
