A good count of 194 Brent Geese was recorded today. Three Little Egret were in the Gutter and a Grey Heron was off the west side of the main island.
Two Grey Plover and 3 Purple Sandpiper were at the North End.
Other waders logged today included 10 Ringed Plover, 210 Sanderling (north shore), 80 Dunlin, 114 Curlew and 247 Redshank.
A flock of 135 Starling flew west, five single Skylark and a Pied Wagtail passed over the island but that was the only visible migration. The only 'new' bird in the paddocks and gardens was a Song Thrush.
