31st March 2009

As the tide flooded the west hoyle bank 110 Little Gulls were seen beyond feeding with their characteristic fluttering flight, and 21 Red-breasted Mergansers were also on the sea with 3 male and 3 female Wigeon.
Landbirds were again scarce with only single Goldcrest, Wheatear and Song Thrush of note.
