The first quiet day for some time on the islands was no surprise with the shift in wind direction.
However, a couple of Red-throated Divers were noted along with 5 Great Crested Grebes and the pair of Eider.
A single immature female Peregrine was disturbed from north of ‘Buzzard Hill’.
A couple of Greenland Wheatear and a single Willow Warbler were the only grounded migrants of note.
The first Garden Tiger caterpillar of the year was noted in the SK paddock along with a Brimstone moth.
