Weather: SE force 1 later SE 4  mist and some fog
The misty conditions brought a few migrants in, notably a Wheatear, a Willow Warbler, a Goldcrest, about 50 Swallows, 2 White and a Grey Wagtail and the first Whitethroat to be ringed this autumn. Larger unexpected visitors were a Common Snipe, a Sparrowhawk and a Woodpigeon. A few butterflies were tempted out including a Peacock and 4 Painted Ladies.
