Bright but cold this morning at Hilbre, most of the Brent Geese were hunkered down from the cold westerly wind.
Good numbers of Grey Plover (66) around the island this morning, in addition to a Bar-tailed Godwit and 40 Sanderling..
The island pond is now looking more like a lake with the recent rainstorms.
