Weather: WSW force 5/6 later WSW 3
An afternoon arrival in a strong south westerly prompted a sea watch with a reward of 11 Manx Shearwaters, 21 Gannets and 8 Common Scoter. Only 103 Sandwich and 20 Common Terns were present. A single Wheatear was the sole small migrant while waders included 35 Ringed Plover and a Whimbrel. Small White butterflies were in the majority (8) with 1 Large White, 1 Red Admiral and a Common Blue.
