Weather:  W 4-5, 8/8 cloud, heavy rain, poor vis

A quiet day but a small number of Meadow Pipit were noted (8) as well as a single Rock Pipit.

A pair of Mallard were noted and were the only real evidence of spring although a male Blackbird present around the gardens may be a breeding bird...time will tell.

The two female Eiders were still present as were 158 Pale-bellied Brent Geese.
