3rd May 2019

Weather:  W 2-3, 8/8 cloud, good vis

A moderate westerly greeted observers so the optimism was not high at the Obs for any migrant arrivals.

However, the sea was fairly productive with 350 Sandwich and 120 Common Terns counted along with 10 Red-throated Divers, 55 Gannet, 9 Guillemot, 20 Kittiwakes and a single Fulmar all noted as well as a brief Harbour Porpoise.

A single female Pintail flew west early morning from the Obs balcony.

Over the tide a Sedge Warbler appeared in the SK and was caught and ringed.

Ringing:  Sedge Warbler [469-27]
