A brief visit to the island after the tide found it very windy and the 2 warblers that were found, a female Blackcap and a Willow Warbler were both keeping in the shelter of the Blackthorn. A male Greenland Wheatear was grounded on the east side of Middle and 3 Swallows arrived in afternoon breeze. The male of the Eider pair was sitting on the whaleback, while others present were a male Common Scoter, 6 Little Egrets and 2 Grey Herons. Only a few waders were about after the tide icluding 35 Turnstone, 60 Redshank, just 2 Purple Sandpiper and a Sanderling.
