Weather: SE force 6 mist/haze
On a brief visit mid morning our observer had 242 Grey Plover resting on the beach near Little Eye, while also logged were 45 Sanderling, 68 Redshank, 2,000 Knot, 600 Dunlin, but just a single Purple Sandpiper seen because the tide was low. One of the 2 Song Thrushes present today was trapped for ringing, Blackbird and Pied Wagtail were also about the island.
