14th September 2022

Weather: NNW force 3,  4/5 in the afternoon

The 2 female type Eiders were still around the island, but during this working visit little else present here was to excite.

A single Wheatear and a Pied Wagtail were on the ground, while there were still 120 Linnets, 5 Robins and 4 Rock Pipits seen, while 4 Scoter and 3 Guillemots were on the sea, one seemed not well below the obs.

The 4 Brent had increased to 5 today at the start of the build up to winter. Eight Bar-tailed Godwits, 12 Ringed Plover, 26 Turnstone and 60 Dunlin were the best of the waders.

Curlew numbers are building up with 126 seen today.

Just 3 Little Egrets were on the shore with 2 Grey Herons. The Great Orme was visible in the evening sunset.
