Weather: NNW force 3
A late afternoon arrival on the island recorded a flock of 800 Black-tailed Godwit seen to fly from Newton into the estuary. Migrants around at this time were a Goldcrest, a Willow Warbler and 2 Wheatears.
Waders included 3 Bar-tailed Godwits and 120 Ringed Plover.
Despite low tide 4 Gannets and a Great Crested Grebe were recorded, as were a Peregrine and 6 Little Egrets.
